Our Vision
A closer look at the ideas shaping Stream Havoc
We're taking things one step at a time, but have many aspirations for the future of Stream Havoc. We want to share where we're at, and where we think we might be heading.
More than physical gadgets
We're currently in an R&D phase that includes alpha and beta testing for one of our core features, the Havoc Gadget range, but the bigger vision for Stream Havoc goes beyond physical gadgets alone.
Our planned overlay feature is intended to let streamers use the Stream Havoc Extension for interactive moments on stream, even if they don't yet have hardware.
We're also exploring different ideas for how creators could work toward receiving gadgets over time. That might include things like redeem goals, discounted gadget opportunities, or even gadget prizes. Those ideas are still in exploration, so nothing there should be taken as a confirmed feature just yet.
Built for all creators
Stream Havoc is designed for streamers at all levels, not just large creators. One of our product aims is to keep initial cost payout as low as possible for the streamer.
Designed for different stream styles
We're not limiting the platform or gadgets to high-chaos content. While some gadgets are more intense or dramatic than others, the Havoc Gadget range is being curated to support a wide range of stream styles. That includes creators who want calmer, slower-paced, or more visually playful interactions, with effects that feel additive to the stream atmosphere, such as a gentle cloud of confetti rather than a disruptive reaction.
How the extension model is intended to work
Creators will be able to configure interactive Havoc Gadget redeems through the dashboard, and viewers will be able to trigger them through the Twitch extension panel. The goal of this model is to create a simple and accessible experience for streamers, while helping keep the cost of entry lower and giving Stream Havoc a more sustainable long-term platform model.
Following the release of the core Havoc Gadget range built around the extension model, one direction we are considering is further R&D into a range of open source devices for creators who enjoy building, modifying, or experimenting with their own effects and interactive tools.
One of our longer-term ideas is to explore ways Stream Havoc could support not only our own gadget range, but also a broader ecosystem of creator-built or community-driven hardware. That could open the door to more custom stream setups, more specialized effects, and more flexibility for technically minded creators who want to push interactivity further in their own way.
Designed to fit your channel identity
While we have not yet implemented visual customization options for the extension, which will be the viewer's main point of interaction, the goal is to give creators more ways to align the experience with their own branding. That could include using their channel's color theme, visual identity, or overall style.
Another direction we are considering is allowing streamers to create custom effects that make use of the Havoc Gadgets and rename them to better fit their own stream identity, recurring themes, or channel lore.
